| Computer/Technology & Graphic Arts Messages: |
~ Computers/Technology: Students work with Microsoft Office Suite focusing on how best to use the tools available to them in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. along with the internet. They are also using UltraKey as their "Do Now" warmup at the beginning of each class to encourage proper keyboarding technique.
~ Graphic Arts: Students will be using SketchUp, a 3D modeling tool. Those interested in fiddling with SketchUp at home can download it for free via Google, broadband connection recommended, at: http://sketchup.google.com/
In addition, please feel free to practice and/or learn more via the video tutorials. Students will be building the structure begin used in the "Features Overview" video available at: http://www.google.com/sketchup/gsu5vtvideos.html

| About Mrs. Pawlowski |
Mrs. Pawlowski has been with St. Chris since 2005 having previously taught Computers for 16 years between St. Vincent de Paul's and St. Boniface, respectively. In addition to her class schedule, Mrs. Pawlowski offers technical support and repair to the nearly 100 Computers and 3 SmartBoards housed within the complex as well as being the site administrator for E-Rate and PowerSchool. Mrs. Pawlowski's loves taking on new challenges and is in perpetual motion constantly asking herself, "What tools will the students need to succeed in the future?"
