Admission to St. Christopher's Parish School

  1. Kindergarten - The child must be five years of age by December 1st of the school year during which he/she will be in Kindergarten.

  2. First Grade - The child must be six years of age by December 1st of the school year during which he/she will be in First Grade.

  3. The child must have received all immunizations required by the Department of Health at the time of application for registration and must present medical certification of that fact.

  4. The child must be present at registration. His/her baptismal certificate must be presented (if Catholic)

  5. Certificate of birth is also required.

  6. Families of students who reside in St. Christopher’s Parish must be registered on the rolls of the parish and must consistently submit their parish envelopes at Sunday Mass. It should be noted that a minimum yearly contribution of $400.00 is required.

  7. After siblings of St. Christopher’s students and St. Christopher’s parish students have been accepted, then students from the region and other localities will be accepted depending on registration. All students will be considered for admission after careful screening.

  8. Transfer students must submit a transfer certificate from the school previously attended as well as the baptismal, birth certificate and Department of Health certificates as noted in #3, 4, and 5.

  9. Non-Catholic students will be considered for admission with the understanding that they will participate in religious education classes and other religious oriented school-wide activities.

  10. At the time of registration, all new entrants will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee.

  11. All students must re-register annually for the ensuing academic year.
