| About Mrs. Whalen: |
|
Mrs. Whalen has been teaching First Grade at St. Christopher School for
six years. Previously she was a Teaching Assistant at Riverside School
in Rockville Centre and taught in the Reading Recovery Program at Wilson
Elementary School. Mrs. Whalen also taught Religious Education at St.
Agnes for ten years. Mrs. Whalen has received a BA from Villanova
University, an MBA from Pace University as well as an MA in Elementary
Education from Molloy College, She has permanent NYS certification for
Grades Pre-K - 6. Mrs. Whalen's primary objective is "to motivate children
to love reading and writing. A good book is like a good friend.
