The Queen of Peace Residence and St. Christopher Families unite!
A few months ago, St. Elizabeth Anne, a Little Sister of the Poor, came to speak at our Masses describing her Queen of Peace Residence for the elderly. Her talk inspired several St. Christopher's School families to do more than support her monetary request.
Joining their desire to assist the Queen of Peace Residence and the community service request honoring our Pope's visit to America, our school families pledged their hours of service to Sister Elizabeth Anne by adopting a garden at her residence. This past weekend, the families worked on behalf of St. Christopher's to create a beautiful summer garden ready to bloom for the elderly. Their work attracted many residents and visitors. In fact they inspired another organization to adopt a nearby garden...a true example of good creates good!
